Med/Surg 5100 -  CHARGE RN

Reporting to the Nursing Director of Med/Surg, the Nurse Manager is responsible for specialty nursing services for a specific clinical patient area/unit.  The Nurse Manager has 24 hour accountability to coordinate the implementation of care and ensures that appropriate nursing practice and patient care standards are met.

Requirements

  1. Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  2. Current CPR certification required.
  3. BSN, or equivalent experience or education/certification, required if classified as an RNII.
  4. Experience and/or training in leadership preferred, if acting as charge nurse.
