Open in 2008, the Surgery Department is a state-of-the-art surgical area comprised of eight operating suites. It is designed and staffed to provide skilled, professional intra- operative nursing care to inpatient and outpatient, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Nursing care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week by providing day and evening nursing staff as well as on call staff for night, weekend, and holiday surgeries.
Types of surgical procedures performed include but are not limited to orthopedic, general, neurological, urology, opthalmic, gynecological, vascular, otolaryngological,
and plastics. As a advocate in technological advancements, the Surgical Department uses the most modern equipment such as the daVinci robot.
