Radiology
Department and Staff
The
Radiology Department offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic
services that support Inpatients and Outpatients.
Since
x-rays were discovered a little over one hundred years ago (1895),
their use has expanded and changed the landscape of modern medicine.
Redlands Community Hospital prides itself on using the most current
equipment and new strategies for diagnosis and treatment of a
variety of illnesses and conditions. The Radiology Department
coordinates imaging services with the hospital’s Emergency
Department, Surgery Department, Gastrointestinal Laboratory and
nursing units. Radiology professionals look for any abnormality in
the body. These images are evaluated by a radiologist (a physician)
trained in the interpretation of diagnostic images.
