Clinical Education courses are presented by the Education Department at Redlands Community Hospital and have been approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing CEP #491.
Employees of Redlands Community Hospital and Asistencia Villa are offered many free classes. However, for planning purposes, employees do need to pre-register and for many of the classes, a refundable deposit is required. A no-show for a class will result in a forfeit return of that deposit. Cancellations & rescheduling may be done anytime before the day of the class without loss of the deposit.
The American Heart Association mandates that all students enrolled in CPR classes have a student manual before, during, and after each class. RCH lends employees the required text when the deposit to register is dropped by the Education Dept.
NRP deposits & books are handled in the same manner.
Most of the other classes offered require deposits that may be made by dropping cash, or a check made payable to Redlands Community Hospital, into the locked dropbox outside the ER with a note stating the class being signing up for (we are not currently set up to accept debit/credit cards). Please call ahead (909-335-5530) to confirm that there is space available in a class. Study guides may be picked up from the catalog files on the wall beside the dropbox and may also be printed from the website (see below).
Required deposit amounts: because some of our classes are limited as to the number of students accepted, a space is not guaranteed without the deposit. Remember: these are deposits (not fees) and are returned after completion of the class.
