Redlands Community Hospital is one of the few remaining capitated hospitals in the state of  California and because of this we are the Payer for services deemed to be our financial responsibility via our contracts with certain Health Plans for selected product lines.

If you’re a contracted provider and need a listing of the Health Plan & product lines that we’re capitated for, send us an email or fax us a request and we’ll send you a quick reference “yellow” card.

In the event that the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or weekly status report doesn’t provide you with enough information on a particular account, send us a fax or an email we’ll help you with your question or concern.   

When leaving us a message or sending us and inquiry please provide us with the following information:

  • Name of the Provider who rendered service
  • Date of Service
  • Covering Health Plan
  • Full Name, Date of Birth and Health Plan ID of Member who received service
  • Claim number (if available)
  • Return phone number, fax number or e-mail address.

Our Customer Service Fax Line is (909) 335-6496 and we also accept inquiries via email at  Claims_Status@redlandshospital.orgFeel free to send us a fax or email ANYTIME.  We continuously respond to written Customer Service inquiries and make most of our return calls on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday before 1:30 p.m.

Please note that our Customer Service Representative also processes claims, so if you call her when she’s working with another provider or after 1:30 in the afternoon, please leave a message, so she can address your issue.
