Employee of the Month August 2003

Nanette Gensolin, an R.N. in 5100, has been chosen as the August 2003 Employee of the Month.

Her co-workers cited her good personality, patience and helpful nature as the main reasons why she should be given the honor.

"She was my preceptor and she was very thorough," Christine Dela Cruz wrote in her nomination. "She cares for her patients and really shows compassion to them. As a charge nurse, she doesn't take advantage of the other nurses. She's very fair and, as a resource person, she's knowledgeable and doesn't mind helping and sharing her knowledge, especially to the new nurses."

Nanette has worked for Redlands Community Hospital since November of 1999. She said she has appreciated the opportunity to work for the hospital and attributed her good work habits to her team members including all the clinical staff and the unit secretaries.
