Employee of the Month
Brian Tipton, Rad Tech
April 2004

Being nominated for Employee of the Month by peers in your department is an honor. Being nominated by people outside of your department somehow makes it a little bit more special. Radiology Tech Brian Tipton was nominated for the award by the ICU nurses on the night shift for his outstanding efforts.
The ICU nurses say he is "prompt, professional, courteous, pleasant, polite and thorough."
Brian has worked for RCH for more than six years. He started as an imaging assistant in 1997 then went to school to become an X-ray Technologist, graduating in 2002.
He worked the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift for 16 months, during which time he learned how to operate the CT machine. He became the weekend imaging coordinator in January 2004.
According to Harvey Hansen, employees say he is great to work with, always willing to help out and cares for patients as if they were family.
"His skill as a technologist and coordinator far surpass his years of experience," said Radiology Director Todd Sexton. |
