Employee of the Month June 2004

There are a number of reasons why Carri Lakes was chosen as the June Employee of the Month.

Carri works well as part of a team and is highly respected by the nurses, physicians and her co-workers. Carri enjoys working in the acute area of the hospital and is well liked by her patients and their family.

She routinely goes above and beyond her basic duties as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She will stay late or come in early to meet the needs of her patients and their families.

Carri was instrumental in the implementation and success of the Professional Practice Model in the ICU/DOU. She is always looking for ways to improve herself and her care to her patients. Carri is currently back in school (while working full-time) to improve her knowledge and further her career in the medical field.

While she has worked in all areas of the hospital during her nine years here, she is currently in the ICU/DOU and works closely with the Physical Therapists to provide the highest level of patient care.

Carri is an excellent choice as the June Employee of the Month. She is caring and compassionate. She is a real advocate for her patients and represents the high standards of care this hospital is known for in the community.
