Cardiac Care (Cardiac Rehabilitation)
The Redlands Community Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation program is
a division of the hospital’s
Physical Medicine Department. This department assists people with
post myocardial infarction (heart attack), bypass, angioplasty or
unstable angina and individuals at risk for heart disease to achieve
the maximum level of functional daily activities.

| Upon referral from a physician responsible for the patient's
care, the patient is evaluated to determine what treatment would
best suit the condition. Treatment is tailored to each individual
patient and may include therapeutic exercises and the use of therapy
equipment. The program also prepares patients to function on an
independent or assisted level after the treatments are discontinued. |
