The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 12-bed Medical/Surgical critical care unit composed of private rooms, each with electrocardiogram and hemodynamic monitoring capabilities. The ICU provides care to adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening medical or surgical conditions. Our ICU Nurses respond to all adult/geriatric Code Blue and Rapid Assessment Team calls within the hospital. Care is delivered to the ICU patient with a strong interdisciplinary approach. Interdisciplinary Patient Rounds are conducted daily with the entire team including the family. Intensivist Physicians available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for both clinical and administrative matters.
