As a volunteer at Redlands Community Hospital, you make a difference by enhancing the care we provide each day. Through your assistance, compassion, comfort, and talent, you enrich the patient and guest experience at RCH. Volunteers have been supporting Redlands Community Hospital since the Auxiliary began in 1931, and we welcome you to join us in Caring for Generations.

Our Programs

We offer two distinct programs for volunteers: ADULT or JUNIOR. Each program is essential to our hospital’s commitment of serving our Patients First with H.E.A.R.T.

Become a valued, respected and appreciated part of our family. Students, retirees, or somewhere in between, we match potential volunteers to current hospital needs to support our patients, guests, and staff. At Redlands Community Hospital, you help us in Caring for Generations.

Priority placements are the RCH Gift Shop (weekdays), Patient Ambassador, and Hospice in-home visits.

General Requirements Volunteer application, in-person interview, one year commitment, and placement acceptance Successful completion of RCH health requirements, background screenings, General Orientation, and training sessions RCH volunteer programs are based on organizational need and designed for continuous, year-round service. Seasonal or short-term assignments are not offered.
