Redlands Community Hospital to Hold Grand Opening of New Family Clinic in Yucaipa on July 13th

REDLANDS, Calif. -Redlands Community Hospital is hosting a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, July 13th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the new Yucaipa Family Clinic, located at 11985 4th St., Suite 102 in Yucaipa. The event will include tours of the new facility, health education, and refreshments. The public is invited to attend.

Committed to improving access to care in the community, the Yucaipa Family Clinic provides primary healthcare for individuals and families with an emphasis on promoting health and wellness. The clinic is now open and seeing patients.

Individuals may be evaluated and treated for acute or chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, and highblood pressure. Diagnostic testing may be performed for audiogram (hearing test), blood glucose (blood sugar), blood work, pulmonary function testing (lung assessment), and EKG.

Patients may meet eligibility and receive assistance towards the payment for services from the following agencies:

• Family Pact- family planning and reproductive health at no cost for qualifying low-income patients

• Cancer Detection Program: Every Woman Counts- providing free breast exams and mammograms for low-income, uninsured or underinsured women and cervical cancer screening

• Child Health and Disability Prevention Program (CHDP)- periodic health assessments and services to low income children and youth

• Vaccine for Children (VFC) Program- no cost vaccines for children through the age of 18.
