Description of Services

The Behavioral Medicine Programs at Redlands Community Hospital provide intensive quality mental health care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including but not limited to:

  • Crisis Intervention
  • Group Therapy
  • Recreational Therapy
  • Life Skills Groups
  • Community Reintegration Services
  • Medication Education
Our multidisciplinary health care team is fully licensed and comprised of:
  • Psychiatrists/Medical Director
  • Registered Nurses
  • Licensed Vocational Nurses
  • Licensed Psychiatric Technicians
  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers
  • Recreational Therapists
  • Marriage and Family Therapists

Inpatient Care

Behavioral Medicine Programs help individuals 18 years of age and older suffering from mental illness or emotional difficulties. The inpatient program is a 24-hour secure unit that provides individualized treatment, crisis intervention, and medication management. Detox services are not provided.

Intensive Outpatient Program Care

The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for adults who do not require an inpatient program but need more than routine office visits with a psychiatrist or therapist. Individuals need to be seen by a staff psychiatrist for referral to the program.

Behavioral Medicine Partial Hospitalization (Day Treatment)

The Redlands Community Hospital Behavioral Medicine Program provides a comprehensive Partial Hospitalization (Day Treatment) Program. This is a daily structured program of therapy that can serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a transition from hospital to residential setting. Individuals need to be seen by a staff psychiatrist for a referral to the program.

This program is available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Transportation is available for patients in the local geographic area.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program is available:
Monday - Friday .........10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Visiting Hours

Monday - Friday............6p to 7pm (weekdays)
Weekends and Holidays: 2p to 3p
Visiting age is 18 and older.
