This program is designed to meet the needs of the patient with congestive
heart failure, post myocardial infarction (heart attack), bypass, angioplasty,
or unstable angina and individuals at risk for heart disease to achieve
the maximum level of function in their daily activities.
Upon referral from a physician responsible for the individual’s care,
the individual is evaluated to determine what treatment plan would best
suit their condition. Treatment is tailored to each individual patient
and may include therapeutic exercise and use of therapy equipment and
educational classes. The program also prepares the patients to function
on an independent or assisted level after the treatment goals are reached.
This program is overseen by the Cardiac Rehabilitation Medical Director
and coordinated by our Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurses.
