RCH’s skilled therapists provide top-notch occupational therapy for the inpatient adult whose stroke, injury or other medical incident has impaired their ability to perform daily tasks. They are also very active in the NICU, giving newborns the building blocks for full functionality.
Occupational therapy is also available in the outpatient setting for pediatric and adult patients. The pediatric program takes a more umbrella approach and addresses feeding issues, sensory integration, daily activities and more. Adult programs are geared toward more specific conditions such as hand therapy, stroke rehabilitation and re-learning how to care for themselves.
