Reporting to the Behavioral Medicine Director, this position is responsible
for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment,
psycho diagnosis, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment,
family treatment and discharge planning with adult patients. Additionally,
he/she is expected to function well as a member of the multi-disiplinary
team and participate in the unit commuity relations program.
Current CA Marriage & Family Therapist license and CPR required.
Two years of experience in a psychiatric setting required, acute patient
5150 certification within 1 year of hire preferred.
MAB certificate required within first 90 days of hire.
Experience conducting group therapy.
