Telemetry (3200 – 3400)

The Telemetry unit (3200 - 3400) consists of 34 rooms each with telemetry monitoring capabilities. The Telemetry unit provides quality, competent, compassionate and age appropriate health care to adults and geriatric patients requiring frequent interventions, monitoring and observation. Primary diagnoses may include moderately stable acute myocardial infarction or rule out, unstable angina, patients requiring permanent pacemaker placement, respiratory compromise requiring frequent respiratory therapy, patients on a ventilator that are hemodynamically stable, patients requiring drugs for blood pressure or cardiac dysrhythmias, and diabetic patients requiring insulin drip.
