Redlands Community Hospital Honors Its Volunteers During National Volunteer Week

Fourteen volunteers honored for their years of dedication and service to the hospital and community

REDLANDS, Calif. – (April 23, 2025) – Redlands Community Hospital (RCH) celebrated National Volunteer Week and hosted a reception to recognize its volunteers who give their time and talent in support of the hospital and their community.

The event’s theme “Volunteers, the Heart of our Community,” honored the volunteers’ achievements and hours of service. The event also presented the RCH Auxiliary President, Jim Previte, with a gift thanking him for his leadership, inspiration and commitment to making a difference in the community.

We are proud to recognize the tremendous work our volunteers perform on a daily basis bringing comfort to our patients and visitors and lending a helping hand to our staff, nurses and doctors,” said Cherie Towers, director of volunteer services at Redlands Community Hospital. “We are thankful for the generosity of our volunteers, their dedication to serving our community, and leadership support of the program.

Redlands Community Hospital is supported by more than 160 volunteers from high school students to retirees, many who travel a great distance to give their time to assist in providing an exceptional experience to patients and their families. The event closed with a drawing and entertainment provided by the Beattie Middle School Jazz Catz from Highland.
