Our skilled speech therapy department delivers comprehensive care to individuals with oral-motor dysfunction and language disorders caused by stroke, disability or other conditions. Therapists work throughout the hospital, from the NICU to the Transitional Care Unit. Inpatient adults regain their speech abilities with oral exercises and language retraining, and babies learn the basics of eating so they can thrive.
Outpatient services are for those 16 months or older. Infants, pediatrics and adults are treated during individual treatment sessions for difficulties with speech, swallowing and voice problems.
