Caring For Generations.

Redlands Community Hospital has been caring for the people of the Redlands area and neighboring communities since 1904. We broke ground at 350 Terracina Blvd. in 1929; we have been steadily expanding over the years but remain a non-for-profit, independent and standalone hospital.

Our Patients First commitment has consistently brought us excellent safety and patient satisfaction scores. We are a recognized center of excellence for robotic surgical care and orthopedic medicine.

Our Mission Statement and Vision

Our mission is to promote an environment where members of our community can receive high quality care and service, so they can be restored to good health by working in concert with patients, physicians, RCH staff, associates and the community.

Our vision is to be recognized for the quality of service we provide and our attention to patient care. We want to remain an independent not-for-profit, full-service community hospital and to continue to be the major health care provider in our primary area of East San Bernardino Valley as well as the hospital of choice for our medical staff.

Strategic Goals for 2025

  • Growth and Differentiation 2025 Goal: Expand services, strategic partnerships, and market presence to meet evolving community needs and enhance our identity as a provider of choice, aligned with out mission to work collaboratively for better health.
  • Financial Resilience 2025 Goal: Strengthen payer relationships, increase volume, and optimize revenue to ensure long term financial health in line with our value of fiscal responsibility.
  • Quality and Patient Safety 2025 Goal: Build a high-reliability, zero preventable harm environment through robust safety practices, aligned with our mission to restore health with excellence.
  • People and Culture 2025 Goal: Attract, retain , and develop a high-performing workforce rooted in engagement, equity, and belonging. In keeping with our value of being a great place to work.
  • Physicians as Partners 2025 Goal: Strengthen alignment with providers through collaborative recruitment, access planning , and program development. 2026 Goal: Deepen physician engagement through joint strategic planning, innovation, and shared care models.

Commitment to Community

We believe in being actively engaged partners of our community. Leadership, management and staff regularly participate in many community-wide events and outreach activities. We are committed to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals to continue our mission through advanced education, including through collaboration with local high schools.

Our 2021 Community Benefit Plan includes, but is not limited to, programs such as:

  • RCH Family Clinics, providing healthcare for the at-risk and underinsured
  • Perinatal Service Program, providing prenatal care and lactation education for low-income and uninsured women and teens
  • Homeless Patient Discharge Planning Initiative, addressing the health needs of homeless patients in compliance with California law
